Drug use for today’s Americans has become essentially a threat to those expecting a night of
fun.
As many experiment using recreational drugs, some escape the dangerous effects it has
but unfortunately, some never make it to see another day!
The National Center for
The CDC 2022, health statistics indicate there were an estimated 107,622 drug overdose deaths in the United
States during 2021, an increase of nearly 15% from the 93,655 deaths estimated in 2020.
The 2021 increase was half of what it was a year ago when overdose deaths rose 30% from 2019 to
2020, and as of today the number continues to rise.
On October 9, 2019, we received a call that a parent
never wants to experience.

Joseph Michael Travieso overdosed on his 27 birthday
in his home. After receiving the medical examiner’s report, a small trace of the synthetic drug “Fentanyl” was found in his system which ended his life.
In his memory, we will continue to spread awareness about this deadly drug to help Save a LIFE!!

This program focuses on children’s grieving process after the loss of a parent, sibling, close family member, or Pet.
Group sessions allow each child to speak about their emotions and fears. Our Licensed therapist will
help create supportive skills that enhance activities to talk freely about their thoughts, using simple words to talk about death. Groups include;
